We received some devastating news this evening a kitten we bred over a year ago, Ajooba Bella Jewel of the Nyla, out of Suntouched Wow Factor and Ajooba Cant Touch This was put to sleep this morning after being diagnosed with FIP. Bell was just over a year old and her loss is reminiscent of the loss of our boy Purebliss Quinoro Pearl.

We have offered our help and support to her owners at this awful time and remain here for them always should they require anything from us. We know she had a fantastic and happy life in her pet home and her sister Kiki from the same litter resides at the same home. Kiki has thrived and is doing well and we hope she will continue to lead a happy life albeit without Bella. This is the first kitten we have lost from our own breeding and our hearts are heavy with her loss and will be for quite some time, as we hope each and everyone  of our kittens will lead a full, long and healthy life.

On hearing the news all I can think of was the tiny kitten we had here who was so confident and beautiful, we hope all our kittens will continue to thrive and we do not hear more news like this in future but we are grateful to Bella’s owners for letting us know. Suntouched Wow Factor of Ajooba is no longer with us as he died with a heart defect in January 2010 and Ajooba Cant touch This remains with is as a neutered pampered pet since her spay in April 2010. We thank Liz and family for looking after Bella and giving her such a loving home.
